My name is Francisco Javier Romeo Biedma, and I like to call me Javier.

Psychologist and psychotherapist

I have one degree in psychology specializing in Clinical Psychology and I am qualified to exercise the General Health Psychology. Further, I am accredited as Social Intervention Psychologist. I have completed graduate studies in Psychology and Psychotherapy, and I am an expert in psychotherapy with children, and adolescents. I'm I give the number M-23324 in the Official College of Psychology of Madrid.

Focusing Certified Professional

Soy Certified trainer Focusing (from 2012) and Focusing psychotherapist Orientation (from 2014) by International Focusing Institute (The International Focusing Institute), Also recognized by the Focusing Spanish Institute. I started my training in Focusing in 2009 under the primary supervision of Isabel Gascón, and I also trained with Carlos Alemany, Barceló Tomeu, John Ferran, Rosa Martinez, Ema Lucia, Elena Frezza, Charles Herr, Nada Lou, Ann Weiser Cornell and other certified trainers. I have also learned directly from Eugene Gendlin, in the “Conversations from the edge” que organiza Ann Weiser Cornell (as commented on this blog).

From 2016 until January 2018 I was a member of Committee Membership (Membership Committee) of International Focusing Institute (The International Focusing Institute), and Vocal International Relations within the Board Focusing Spanish Institute.

Linguist, social educator and master

I also degree in General Linguistics and a Master in Management of Educational Centers. I am also qualified as Social educator.

Nonviolent Communication Training

I am in contact with the Nonviolent Communication from 2006, and I have received training Marshall B. Rosenberg, Thomas Ansembourg, Marianne Göthlin, Robert Gonzales, Gina Lawrie, Kirsten Kristensen, Miki Kashtan, Duke Duchscherer, Arnina Kashtan, Bridget Belgrave and other facilitators. From 2007 share at conferences, workshops and practice groups my understanding of Nonviolent Communication and other tools that help create a more authentic connection.

Career path

I have more than twenty three years of experience in the social sphere and cooperation. I worked as a volunteer and educator Morocco and Mauritania, intercultural mediator and clinical psychologist at-risk adolescents in Spain and as a consultant for public and private organizations in Spain, Europa, the Maghreb and Latin America. I have taught courses on cooperation, childhood, Focusing interpersonal and communication Castilian, English, French and Moroccan Arabic.

Currently I combine my work as Psychologist psychotherapist in Madrid and trainer Focusing and interpersonal communication for different audiences with my work Childhood Consultant on issues affectivity, protection and interpersonal communication in Spiral Consulting Children Pepa team with Oven and others from 2009.
